So there’s this gig happening tomorrow at the Betsey Trotwood hosted by Darren Hayman and our good friend and flatmate Tom is playing some bass with the wicked Owl and Mouse in it. It will be super I reckon, ‘cause I’ve heard him play it in our living room, and it’s super. Sadly this half of us can’t go ‘cause of being on-call at work n that, but half of us might, and you should. You being, six people? Two of whom are the above. oh. Influential!

So, Hannah of Owl + Mouse fame asked me to play some bass on her Christmas song, and I eventually did, but it was a bit late for the actual advent calendar. However, if she’ll have me, I’ll be playing bass for it at the Darren Hayman Christmas EP launch this Wednesday at the Betsey Trotwood.

So, Darren Hayman is doing a Christmas Advent calendar with Tom from the gorgeous indie label Fika Recordings. Tom emailed me last month to ask if I would be interested in contributing a song and of course I jumped at the chance.
