Our 5th album is getting mixed at the moment and it looks like it’ll be getting a September release all being well.
In the meantime we have written our first proper full band song for album 6, due sometime in 2013 maybe. It’s called Winning or Losing and is pretty heavily indebted to Brand New, especially the Jesus Christ half of their output. So excited to see what we come up with...
WatchAnd this one is either going to be called Little Eyeful or Big Trifle In Little Eyeball.
WatchWe played some songs off our new album last night at our show. This one is called Death By Autofill.
Hope it doesn’t snow on Saturday :(

Live at the Victoria back in October 2011. On February 4th Ace Bushy Striptease are returning to the Victoria to host an all-dayer featuring some great bands from Birmingham and beyond. If you’re in the area be sure to check it out.
Our next album might kick you in the balls a bit. We had amazing guests filling in the gaps and yeah. I can say with confidence that they are the best 17 songs we have ever written.

We totally just got a couple of unmixed half-recorded songs back from our recording session a few weeks ago. Thinking up ideas for them already before we go back in January.
Hardcore song is going to be about the BBC moving out of Pebble Mill and then how it was inevitable they would leave Birmingham altogether because the Mailbox sux.

Doing a tour again
Oh hiya
We’re planning a tour again with our best best friends The Middle Ones. It’s going to be over easter again. Maybe we’ll do it every year! It’d be great to start a tradition.
If you can help us sort a gig in the northern hemisphere between the 5th and 14th April that’d be pretty right on.

Ahhhhhh! We’ve maybe 4/5ths decided on our album title! It WAS going to be ‘Cool Vibes 2: Get Yr Wide-On’ but we were having second thoughts over the weekend. That’ll just be the working title now.
The potential new title is a Jelas lyric.

Album 5 (Cool Vibes 2)
We went to Nottingham this weekend just gone as I may have mentioned before. We made a start at recording a new album which on it’s release will be our 5th. It was a lovely couple of days.
We recorded most of 16 songs.
